What personal data we collect and why we collect it
We currently collect and process the following information:
- From our Contact form: Your name, email address, the address of the graveyard or cemetery in question, and the grave number if known.
- From discussion by telephone: Your postal address
- We use Cloudflare and their SSL/TLS service to secure the date you send to this WordPress site
- Online identifiers include IP addresses and cookie identifiers which may be personal data. Please see below for our Cookie policy.
- We do not provide your personal information to third parties
Why we have your personal information
Most of the personal information we process is given to us directly by you for one of the following reasons, so that we can:
- arrange to contact you directly to discuss your requirements
- discuss and agree the service you require for grave tending
- process the payment for any service you commission
- find the grave where work is required
- deliver the service commissioned
- improve our service
We will use the information that you have given us in order to:
- contact you to discuss your requirements
- arrange payment for services to be undertaken
- email you an image of the condition of the grave where work is required and to check that it is the correct one
- email you an image of the work we have undertaken
- inform you of any new services we introduce

How we store your personal information
Your information is stored electronically on a secure computer.
We keep your personal information including your name, address, email, telephone number and bank details only until we have provided the grave tending service to your satisfaction. It will then be deleted from our electronic system.
If you wish us to keep your data for longer, for example to provide a second or repeat grave cleaning, we will agree that in advance to ensure your data is not deleted.
Your data protection rights
Access – You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.
Correction – You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.
Erasure – You have the right to ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances.
Restriction of processing – You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.
Objecting to processing – You have the the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.
Data portability – You have the right to ask that we transfer the personal information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.
You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
